Description
Cummins, Inc. (Cummins) is recalling certain PD7000 Electric Drive, part number BES CM0904 EV104B. The System Control Module (SCM) software error may cause a stationary vehicle to move unexpectedly.
Issue
Unintended vehicle movement increases the risk of a crash.

Corrective Action
Dealers will update the SCM software, free of charge. Interim owner notification letters notifying the owners of a the safety risk are expected to be mailed March 27, 2026.
